A Greek Australian group of investors have announced plans to build a super luxury resort on the southern shores of Ithaca, turning this small Greek island into Monaco.

New ferry connection was recently established for the island of Ithaca. The ferry company Kefalonian Lines now runs ferry schedules from Sami port in Kefalonia, to Pisaetos port in Ithaca and Killini port in Peloponnese.

Another eminence came for the Greek islands, in particular for Ithaca, this time from the popular and well-esteemed British newspaper Sunday Times.
