About ferries to Ithaca
A daily ferry to Ithaca departs from the port of Killini in Peloponnese, and Sami in Kefalonia.
The ferry ride from Sami Kefalonia to Ithaca takes about 2 hours and a half and arrives at the port of Pisaetos in Ithaca. The ports of Vathy and Pisaetos serve ferries to Ithaca from Sami in Kefalonia island and Astakos. Note that the ferry company Ionion P. Lines operates from the port of Astakos to Ithaki. Please note that the company does not have an online booking system, therefore you should purchase your tickets from their offices.

Local ferry from Ithaca to Lefkada
In summer, there is a ferry from Ithaca (Frikes port, in northern Ithaca) to Lefkada, particularly from the port of Vassiliki. These ferry schedules are operated by the ferry company West Ferry and tickets can be bought locally at the port, before the ferry departure.
There is also a local ferry from Pisaetos port in Ithaca to Sami Kefalonia. These ferries are operated by the ferry company Ionion Pelagos and tickets can be bought locally on the port before the ferry departure.
