Information about Sidari

Sidari Corfu: Sidari is a popular tourist resort, 37 km north west of Corfu Town. Surrounded by a landscape of wild beauty, Sidari has developed a lot of tourist amenities over the last years. The village is located right next to the famous Canal d' Amour (the Channel of Love), with the unique geological formations. Canal d' Amour is one of the most distinctive spots of Corfu and everyone should visit.

The main beach of Sidari is sandy and organized, but sometimes it gets windy. Along the beach, there are hotels, traditional taverns, cafeterias and some water sports centres. From the small port of Sidari, tour boats depart for the isolated islands of Othoni, Mathraki and Erikoussa, known for their stunning coves and turquoise waters.

In Sidari one can see the remains of the Venetian castle and the beautiful village of Agrafi. Sidari is close to other tourist resorts in Corfu, such as Acharavi and Roda.

How to get to Sidari

There are many different ways to get to Sidari from any location on the island.
Airport to Sidari: 38 km / 23.6 miles | New Port to Sidari: 44 km / 27.3 miles | Corfu Town to Sidari: 37 km / 22.9 miles

By Public transfers: The central bus station of the island is located at Corfu Town. There are several buses from Corfu Town to Sidari during the day. Consider that time schedules might change according to the season. Check the official timetables here.

Tip: Since buses don’t always stop in every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination, so that he makes a stop there.
