Corfu celebrates its patron saint, Agios Spyridon, tomorrow, December 12th. This is an important day for the residents of Corfu, as Agios Spyridon is said to work miracles. This day is a local holiday for the island, which means that shopping stores, schools and public services remain close. The celebration starts with a glorious Mass in the morning, in the church of Agios Spyridon in the Old Town of Corfu.
