alisonbr 11 Feb 2009Get tea tree oil to avoid mossiesI have visited Corfu many times so I know the area inside out. We usually stay in the northern side, where the best beaches are to be found. Most people I know have been to Sidari village but this is not my cup of tea, it's full of clubs and teenagers strolling around drunken. I prefer San Stefano. Although it is a neat little vilage, it has everything you need (other than a chemist). People are very friendly, costs are still reasonable and the beach is first class. All restaurants were also fabulous, we paid regular visitors to Paradise, the Beachcombers and Nafsika Hotel, yummy. Just take 100% tea tree oil. Mossies don't like it and they won't bite you.
