Greece in November is a delight! The weather is great, not too hot not too cold, and nature is so romantic. In our days in Athens we loved Plaka with the outdoor coffee tables and also loved the museums. I was surprised to find that there are so many nice museums in Athens! We were actually sorry that we did not have the time to see more as apparently they organize interesting exhibitions every now and then. We got to see the Acropolis Museum, the Christian Museum and the Cycladic, but I was told that the National Archaeological is also very interesting. Maybe another time!
We surely enjoyed our days in Delphi, too. The site was FANTASTIC, so much energy in there! And the view to the mountains below was so stunning! I get dizzy every time I remember this :-)
Thank you, Greeka, for organizing such a great tour for us. I am so glad that I picked up a winter tour in Greece, it is so much more relaxing than August time in the islands.

Thank you, Albert and Sofia, for the nice trip. Hotels were perfect, weather was very nice (all days were sunny, just a short shower one evening), transfers on time and drivers very eager to help. We mostly enjoyed the tour to Delphi and the little taverna where we had our dinner. The day cruise was also fine, although I expected more tourists on the islands and more shops open. I guess I should see it coming in off season. No worries though, we got to see the pure daily life in Hydra and Aegina for a couple of hours. Thank you again!

Took the Athens Arista package in February 2013, 22-26. That was the only time we could come to Athens from Australia. Chilly weather in Athens but not freezing, about 10-12oC in the daytime and 4-5oC in the evenings. The city was nice to walk and see the sightseeings, very few people at the Acropolis and the museums. Also very few tourists in Plaka and Monastiraki, sometimes it seemed that we had the city by ourselves. Dark was coming at around 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Prices in hotels were cheaper because it was off season.
The islands (Hydra-Aegina) were almost closed up for tourists, you could see only locals in the streets around the port. A short walk in the village downtown and you were all alone. We didn't mind because we stayed only for a couple of hours in every island.
I am sorry we took this long trip and did not hop to Mykonos and Santorini, but hopefully we come back soon.

As I am very much interested in the Greek history, I loved our sightseeing in Athens and Delphi. I want to come back to Greece one day just to see other ancient sites. My country (USA) is relatively new to yours and we do not have such old impressive places like the Acropolis, the Herodes Odeon and the wonderful site of Delphi. I also loved your museums: the museum of Delphi, the Acropolis Museum, the Attalos Museum. Sadly my wife does not share my passion, so the last day I booked her a spa treatment so that I can spend few hours at your National Archaeological Museum. Wow! Those impressive statues over there stole my heart.
The cruise to the islands was nice and calm. Hydra was astonishing, hardly any tourists and very few shops open but the beauty of the place was evident even without people. Aegina was also nice, must come again one day and pay a visit to Aphea Temple. Didn't have much time now. Your food is also delicious, 5 days in Greece and not a single day we missed cheeseburgers! So long, people! Hope to step foot again in our country!

It was a wonderful experience to see Greece off season. We usually come in July and August but last time we were suggested by a Greek friend to try Greece in Christmas. It was truly a delight!
Thank you Greeka for preparing all the package for us! Hotels were amazing and transfers always on time!
The weather in December in Greece is good, nothing to compare with central Europe where we would usually go that time of the year. The weather in Athens was about 10oC in December, in Arachova it was colder about 5oC in the day and 1-2oC in the evenings. The ski centres in Parnassus were beautifully-organized. They are not the Alps of course, but lovely. We stayed in Arachova for four days and luckily the two days it was snowing in the ski centres. There are many taxis in the entrance of Arachova to take you up to the centres and come and pick you up in the afternoon.
Ancient Delphi was amazing to visit. These two villages (Delphi and Arachova) are very lively in Christmas and New Year holidays, apparently many Greeks spend their winter break there. We were the only foreigners I believe, but didn't mind.
We loved the meat dishes in Arachova and also the local spicy cheese.
