Greece Shopping

Greece shops

Visitors will find all kind of shops in Greece: from mini-markets and small shops with traditional products, to brand shops with expensive items in the most cosmopolitan islands, like Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes and Corfu. The most common shops in the Greek islands are souvenir and tourist shops, where you can buy beach items for your holidays or nice things to take back home.

Shopping in Greece lasts all day long. Shops usually open from 9 in the morning till late in the evening. In tourist islands, they frequently stay open till midnight, particularly the souvenir shops. Most shops in Greece, located in the tourist islands, accept credit cards, but small grocery shops, kiosks and other shops in secluded places accept only payment in cash. We always suggest tourists to ask the shops if they accept credit cards or not before making a purchase.

Here is our guide with 61 shops in Greece and the Greek islands. All shops are presented with detailed texts, photos and occasionally links to their website. Requests are sent directly to the shop managers, so that you can contact them in person if you want to ask a question.
