Very easy on-line booking and excellent communication from Greeka. Our return trip on Sea Jet was transferred to a slightly later ferry which would have made reaching Athens Airport on time for our flight a bit marginal. Greeka was able to cancel the original tickets and obtained a full refund for us. I was able to make an alternative booking. Really good service when things go a bit wrong is a sign of a company to trust!

Worst experience. Changed port and departure time to hours later. Had to walk almost 5 kilometers with bags in the heat to get to the next port. No one from Greeka could answer questions about what was going on. Then had an additional delay and had to wait even longer. Spent SIX HOURS outside on the port waiting in the sun. Then on the boat not one member of the crew could say when we would arrive. One even told me that we were “a few hours away” about 30 minutes before arriving. Completely wasted an entire day of our vacation using Greeka and will never use again. Next time we will fly.

We would like to inform you that after receiving your review we contacted Seajets in order to find out what exactly happened and they informed us that indeed due to their technical issues they replaced the Chapmpion Jet 1 with Naxos Jet on the day of the trip and it departed Mykonos at 16:45 instead of 14:55 as initially scheduled. Since this was something that happened on the same day there was not enough time for them to inform us so that we could also inform you accordingly.
The difference though in the time was about 2 hours and not 6 hours as you stated. Furthermore there were no change in the port. Both vessels always depart from the new port of Mykonos and we never told you something different than that.
Please note that we, Greeka.com, are an online travel agency and not the ferry company who changed your itinerary. We always inform passengers by email and sms for any alterations but in such last minute changes that are made on the same date of the departure Seajets usually informs directly the passengers by sms and not us in order to save time.
Both vessels Chapmpion Jet 1 and Naxos Jet depart from the New Port of Mykonos and this is clearly instructed on your booking confirmation "Only catamarans, such as the Flying Cats of the ferry company Hellenic Seaways as well as the ferries Superjet and Seajet 2, arrive at the Old Port of Mykonos."

I used Greeka to purchase my multi ferry tickets to a couple of islands off Greece. They provided me with a few different options to choose from and booking the ticket was easy to use. I also had a question which they responded to promptly and i also found it easy to collect the tickets before departing for my trip. Will definitely use Greeka again to book my tickets.

We had an amazing holiday experience in Greece: Paros - Naxos & Santorini. The service was easy to use. We had the tickets booked in just few clicks. One of our boats was cancelled and Greeka support team informed us in advance about the cancellation and proposed us some alternatives. They were one step forward. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend them.

I’m totally not satisfied with your services.
Firstly, I have to change to another ferry with extra €60 from Mykonos to Santorini.
Secondly, you gave us the ferry details of someone else I don’t know ever and ever. Everything information was wrong, including names, passport details, departure and arrive stops. And you didn’t reply us through email until we called you.
You almost ruined my holiday with my boyfriend.

We would like to inform you that we are an online travel agency and not Golden Star ferries who canceled your itinerary.
Once we were informed by them that due to their rescheduling your trip had been canceled, we informed you immediately and offered you the option to change your tickets to next available departure. As the new desired departure was more expensive you were requested to pay the according ticket rate difference which was 60 Euro. We always make such changes free of charge and never request any kind of amendment fee and we really hope that you can understand that we can not bear the extra charges for your new more expensive tickets for a faster vessel.
After we received your extra payment we immediately proceeded to the requested change and by mistake due to the work overload and many similar amendments on that day due to these canceled itineraries we attached to our conversation the wrong voucher which as soon as you informed us about it was correctly sent to you and on time before your trip.
We are really happy that everything was sorted on time and hope that you had a great time in our country despite this itinerary cancellation.

We booked the ferry tickets several weeks in advance. It was easy to pick the tickets up at the wharf. We went to Hydra for the day. Because of a change in plans, we needed to change our return time. This was no problem at all. Greeka.com service was a Wow! Thank you.

I booked our ferry tickets from Mykonos-Athens in March 2018 trough Greeka including a cancellation and re-booking. The service was friendly and easy. I just wished the cancellation/change was made a self-service option available online instead of sending an email request.

Thank you for your review and comment. We are working on an automatic system to change and cancel tickets. It is a very difficult system as every company has its own cancellation policy.

My wife and I who were on our honeymoon were left stranded on the island of Naxos when the boat never showed up and no information was given. No email was sent out, no phone call was issued and no one at the port would tell us anything. We were told to just keep waiting. After 4 hours standing at the port everything just started closing up and the port authority finally told us the boat was canceled with no other explanation. We found out the following day that it was due to weather, but every single other boat company was operating, and the weather was not bad.
Due to this we had to find last minute accommodation and lost one of our three nights in Santorni. A loss of over £200 as we lost our hotel money, upfront taxi costs, having to find another hotel in Naxos for one night.
We spent hours trying to figure out if we needed to book new tickets or could use the tickets we had already purchased. Everything was closed. Once we got a hold of something the following day No refund was offered or any apology. I will never use this boat service again.

We are very sorry about the inconvenience that you faced during your last trip. Unfortunately we were not informed by the ferry company about this trip cancellation and thus we could not inform you either on time.
We therefore contacted Hellenic Seaways and they informed us that the cancellation of your third trip was due to bad weather. Unfortunately this was something that was decided by the local port authorities on the same date for the safety of the passengers and consequently there was not enough time for the ferry company to inform all the passengers on time. This is a decision that does not affect all the vessels always, meaning that bigger conventional ferries could depart normally while smaller catamarans were not allowed to.
Furthermore we would like to inform you that the booking confirmation that you automatically received when making this booking, included already the telephone numbers of the central offices of Hellenic Seaways as well as ours where you could call directly to find out what had happened.
Additionally in such cases you are entitled to a full refund of the total ticket rate which as we were informed by Hellenic Seaways was refunded to you directly from their local central agent Naxos Tours.

There has been quite a few changes to the ferry schedules since I booked with Greeka in mid-February. I had to ask Greeka for amendments to my May-June island-hopping tickets three times. I was amazed of the exceptional service I have received. Quick, polite, respectful, detailed, reassuring, and more. Special thanks to Eleni. You are a wonderful asset to your employer and you deserve the employee award of the year! I have been doing business with Greeka for eight years and was always well served, but this year is outstanding.
