Loved the Temple of Poseidon at sunset

Category: Athens T03 Cape Sounion

We took a half day tour to Cape Sounion last year, during our visit to Athens. The trip was great, no delays, no misfortunes. The guide was very gentle and would give us the necessary explanations for the areas we were passing by. I personally loved the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion at sunset; I thought the moment was very touching. The only think I want to mention is that the bus went too fast, I would like it if it there was a stop on the way. Perhaps it would be more convenient to let the trip begin at around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, instead of 4, and add a stop to a town along the way. However, in general terms, I got very satisfied from Greeka.com. I would rate the whole organization with 9 out of 10.

Kalimera Nikoletta,

I do not think I ever thanked you for setting the trip up for us.

We had a wonderful time and will be going back sometime.

Greece is a beautiful place to visit but the people are wonderful too. We were treated very well.

I have attached a couple of pictures of us at the Acropolis.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Category: Island Hopping

We chose the island hopping package to Mykonos and Santorini, may- june 2007 and, as it turned out, it was an excellent choice. It was a perfectly- organized tour; the hotels we stayed in were comfortable and the transfers always punctual. Not to mention, the islands were lovable; I can’t say which one I liked more, I can’t chose between them, they were both breathtaking. Other than that, we got really impressed with the organization of all our tour. Greeka.com and Haritos Travel gave us the best holidays of our lives. If I am given the chance, I would love to do it again!

I bought air tickets, city tours and island tours with transfers from Greeka.com. I traveled to Athens and Santorini last August. It was a very well-organized tour and although the itinerary I asked for was not the usual one and they did their best to adapt it to my schedule. The people that organized the trip were warm, the transfers always punctual and the hotels very comfortable. I also loved the places we traveled into; Athens was a mix of culture and history, with many friendly people, while Santorini was breathtaking. I would say that everything was excellent. What I only want to mention is that maybe vouchers could be given to customers once they have booked and paid for the service so that they have a sort of confirmation with them.

Our holiday in Greece in May of 2007 was very enjoyable, thanks in large part to the services of Greeka.com. Everything worked out perfectly; from the taxis and buses arriving on time to take us to the ferries, to the taxis waiting at the other end to pick us up. Every one was extremely friendly and cooperative. All of the Island Hotels were excellent, especially the staff at our hotel in Kamari, Santorini. And while our hotel room in Athens was very small, the staff were excellent. The location in Athens was great; close to the Acropolis, the Plaka and the subway. I have already recommended Greeka.com to other friends who are contemplating a trip to Greece and I would not hesitate in using their services again if we ever return to Greece.

Yours truly,

R. McGill

We took a great island hopping tour around naxos, paros, mykonos and santorini, last summer, from 17/8/08 to 3/9/08 and got the best impressions out of the greek islands and the organization of the whole trip. The people of Greeka and Haritou had everything planned. They were waiting for us at the port, took us to the hotels, which were in a great location, and then guided us around the islands; the transfers were very helpful. What I liked most was that we didn’t have to worry about anything as everything was taken care of. We also liked the fact that our holiday was planned in general terms but the details were left to us. As for the islands, I think there is no better place to be in the whole world that the greek islands. Especially Santorini, whose serenity and breathtaking views cannot be compared to anything else in the world. All in all, I am very satisfied by the services provided by Greeka.com and Haritou Travel and would certainly arrange my holidays with you again next summer!

While we were on holiday in Paros, we rented a Hyundai Accent to make transportation around the island easier for us. There are many agencies on the island by prefered to also have a look on the internet for special deals. I found the website Greeka.com and saw they were proposing really interesting rates. We rented the car through them them. We got the car for 13 days, from Sixt. We had the car delivered outside our apartment by the agency people and dropped it off in the harbor, on departure time. In the overall, we didn’t face any problem with the whole service, got satisfied and would certainly recommend Greeka services to other.

Last summer, I was in Thassos for holidays and rented a car, so that I wouldn’t have to rely on the poor and inconvenient public means of transportation. I rented thus a Daewoo Matiz from a local agency that I found in Greeka.com. I picked up the car myself from the agency, though they had offered to deliver it in front of my hotel, and dropped it off in the same place, nine days later. The people of the agency were helpful and kind, I didn’t have any problem with them, and neither did I face any difficulties while driving; in fact, the roads were pretty good for an island, with many signs to guide you.

In July, I picked up a Hyundai Atos from Heraklion Airport and dropped it off in the same place 14 days later. The name of the car rental agency was given to me by Greeka.com, once my booking confirmed. I don’t have any complain to make, everything was the way they should be: the staff was friendly and the car there and in a good situation.

We rented a car (I don’t remember which model exactly) in Santorini. We were picked up at the Santorini Airport and delivered the car 4 days later in Fira. The car rental people were welcoming; We asked for a car with power steering and had it. Everything was perfectly organized.
As for the roads, we found it hard to get used to no traffic lights, few stop signs and no street signs. Andrew S.
