Lesvos Andissa

General information

Andissa village Lesvos: The small vilalge of Andissa is located 73 km north west of Mytilene, the capital of Levos. Traditional houses spread on the verdant mountain slopes, offering a gorgeous view to the entire surrounding and the sea. Most of the inhabitants in Andissa are involved in farming and agriculture and follow a traditional way of life. Inside the village you will find numerous churches and few monasteries.

In the wider region, a few km south west of Andissa stands the interesting Monastery of Ipsilou, which should not be missed. Close to the village you will find some beautiful shores with clean waters.
