Daskalopetra Beach Chios: The beautiful long sand-pebbled beach of Daskalopetra is located 4 km north of Chios Town. According to a local myth, the beach owns its name to a rock where the famous poet Homer used to sit with his students. A picturesque port is located near the beach and various cafes and taverns board the shore. Crystal clear waters are washing the smooth pebbles, forming an attractive scenery.
