European Info Centre starts operation

A few days ago, the European Information Centre Europe Direct of the Region of Northern Aegean started its operation on the island of Samos. One of the primary goals of this Centre is the cooperation with the local and regional media so that they, in turn, can inform citizens on issues of the European Union. This will be achieved through informative leaflets, newsletters and articles that will be sent to the local media by the centre. The operation of this centre shows once more the effort of the EU to come closer to even the closest region of its dominance.
