Agrotourism Festival

The agrotourism feasts organized every summer on the Natural History Museum of the Petrified Forest in Sigri, has become a tradition for Lesvos island.
From July the 1st to September the 30th, thousands of visitors will have the chance to learn, taste and trust the selected local products.
Various tastes, aromas and little artworks form the most representative local products will be available to visitors: Home made sweets and jams, pickles, pasta, oil-cheese, wines and ouzo, pure olive oil and soap, honey, dried seeds, as well as textiles, pottery, jewelry and many more.
Several special events will be taking place during the Festival and there are treats for the visitors. The events will include traditional music, dances and theatrical plays, while on specific areas on the Museum, local painters, sculptors, potters and photographers will display their work.
