Sub perfect asks for better ferry connection

The sub-perfect of Ikaria has sent a letter to the Minister of Marine Merchantise, asking for a better ferry connection between the island and the port of Piraeus, the main port of Greece. According to the sub-perfect, there is the odd phonomenon that one day Ikaria is connected to Piraeus with two ships, while for three days there is no ship arriving on island. This causes problems to the residents who want to travel as well as tourists who will come on the island for holidays next summer.
