The Homerion Cultural Centre of Chios: The Homerion Cultural Center of Chios Municipality was established in 1980 and five years later, it received the financial contribution of Michael and Stamatia Xylas. The main purpose of this Cultural Center is to broaden the sensibility and knowledge into arts and education in order to pursue a higher quality in life. The Center also seeks to promote the co-ordination of educational, scientific and cultural activities between Chios and other cities of Greece.
The facilities in the five floors of the Center include an Auditorium, with superb acoustics and lighting systems, a Conference Hall, two Galleries, Teaching and Rehearsal Rooms, a Boardroom, a Refreshment Room and a Library.
