Environmental Festival for students

The Municipality of Kardamilia, on Chios, and the organization MESOGEIOS SOS organize an environmental festival on December 18th and 19th to inform primary and high school students on the situation of the environment today and what we can do to protect it. Young students, through the use of audio-visual medias and other activities, learn how not to pollute the environment with simple actions, how to love the forest and nature in general. The municipality of Kardamilia has also committed to create anti-fire zones in the forests, built a new modern unit of biological cleaning and set up courses of environmental education at schools.
