Stoes Hotel is named after the stone-made arches ('stoes' in the local dialect) which are a characteristic element of the architecture preserved not only inside the houses, but also in all the alleys of the village. All the Traditional Suites of Stoes Hotel are recently renovated according to the supervision of the Directorate of Byzantine Antiquities, with absolute respect of the special architecture of the castle of Mesta.

Arches and niches in the walls made of stone are well preserved in the reception area of the hotel, showing a characteristic part of the local building architecture. All five traditional suites of Stoes Hotel are located in different spots of the village-castle of Mesta - a village characterized by its unique architecture which is perfectly preserved since the Byzantine period.
