General information

Trahili Beach Chios: Trahili is an exotic bay with crystal waters located 20km west of Chios Town and 5km north from the village of Lithi. It is an isolated pure cove far away from the crowded beaches offering a natural beauty to the surrounding area. It is known for its clear waters and white soft sand. It is surrounded by a rocky hill covered with tall pine trees all the way down to the beach. Trahili is close to Avgonyma village and easy accessible from there. The nearest tourist facilities are found in Avgonyma.

Carry a map with you

This is one of the least organized beaches on Chios. There are no sun beds or unbrellas, not even a tavern (at least, 3 years ago when I went there). You take a track road to go and it would be better to have a map because sings are not very sufficient. You will not find many people there, except for some couples.

Serenity at all its majesty

I have no words to describe Trahili beach. It is probably the cleanest beach on Chios and has very warm waters. It is not organized, probably that is why it is so beautiful. Trahili is a perfect serene atmosphere. If you go in the evening, you will find even less swimmers. Just take some water and food with you because there is no cafeteria there.
