A Greek horror film, “The 13th”, shot entirely in the lovely island of Simi, has been selected to feature in this year’s London Greek Film Festival.

The entire island of Simi and the small rocky surrounding islets were recently declared as archaeological sites by the Central Archeological Council, involving 159 monuments and locations.

Simi faces a great problem with the illegal emigrants who continuously deluge the island. Unfortunately, they island doesn't have the proper infrastructure to temporarily host them.
