Emporio is a small tourist village on the northern side of Simi, in close distance to Simi Town, the capital of the island. Emporio, or Nimporios as it is also called, has a small beach with clean water and a few tourist facilities around. It also provides good access to the inland of Simi, where remains of early Christian churches and Byzantine monasteries are spread all around.
