Koskinou in Rhodes, Dodecanese: Between Rhodes and Faliraki you will find the picturesque village of Koskinou. It is located 6 kilometers from the capital of the island. Koskinou consists of 2 parts: The old village and the newer coastal area.
The modern side of Koskinou is considered one of the most popular destinations for family holidays in Rhodes. It is well known for its narrow streets, the churches and the numerous traditional old houses decorated with the Rhodian style. Koskinou has a great archaeological interest and rich history since the 4th century AD. The 13th century Medieval castle and the chapels built in the 4th century are worth visiting.
