Lardos is located 3 km from Lothiarika, the closest village to the beach. Little roads wind their way from the main street of the village to the beach. Hotels, rooms to rent, bars, taverns and cafes dot the surrounding area and provide a host of food and entertainment options.

The beach also offers a variety of water sports and is an ideal getaway for tourists who prefer less-crowded beaches. The pristine waters of the beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag and the areas surrounding it are pretty unspoilt and have been the centre for several environmental activities, like cleaning-up campaigns and seminars.
