Keep cars away from old town
• Category: News
The Municipality of Rhodes, after a meeting of its administrative board, decided to reduce the number of cars that enter and park in the Old Town of Rhodes, in an effort to protect the medieval town and its monuments from pollution and to keep the traditional atmosphere. In particular, the board decided to be more careful in giving the special cards to the citizens that live permanently in the Old Town. These cards allow citizens to enter and park into the Old Town, but as some members of the board said, not all the citizens who have such cards actually live permanently in the Old Town.
