Captain Nemo all at sea in Rhodes harbor

• Category: News
A small Greek cargo vessel called Captain Nemo crashed into a US Navy ship docked at the island of Rhodes yesterday morning. The captain of the Greek vessel was called in for questioning as his maneuvering in Rhodes harbor went awry leading to the crash. The collision only caused a small dent in the USS Trenton- an amphibious transport dock. But as the ship's alarm was sounded some 900 seamen jumped out of their bunks at 6 a.m. The unnamed captain of the cargo ship was arrested by authorities and rushed to a local prosecutor. He was later released as he admitted that he has been careless while trying to move his vessel to free some space in the crowded harbor. Sources said that the captain of the USS Trenton decided not to file charges as the damage was minor and could be fixed by members of the crew.
