Former president of USA, George Bush, visited on Sunday the USS Ashland, amphibian operations ship on the island of Rhodes.
The president, accompanied by his family, is in Greece for holidays and he changed his plans only to visit the ship and talk with the crew. The ship has returned from the Arabian Bay.
During his visit he delivered eight prizes and he attended the ceremony of two sailors re-entrance.
After the ceremony, Mr. Bush and his wife Barbara spend much time with the officers and the sailors, while the rest of the family members visited the facilities of the boat.
The ship USS Ashland is part of the Nassau group and it operates within the 6th American navy as a support boat.
