General information

Kambos Village Patmos: The picturesque settlement of Kambos is located 9 km north of Chora and consists of two villages: Kato Kambos (Lower Kambos) and Pano Kambos (Upper Kambos). The main village is Pano Kambos, home of the beautiful church of the Annunciation. Kato Kambos is a small coastal settlement with 400 inhabitants most of whom are engaged in agriculture and farming.

It is a lovely village full of greenery and an enchanting beach that attracts many visitors. The whitewashed houses and narrow alleys Kambos create beautiful sceneries. Various taverns, cafes and shops are available as well as many accommodations. Worth visiting are the small church of Panagia tou Geranou and the church of Saint Nicholas of Evdimos, which is one of the oldest churches of the island. The village of Kambos is linked with the rest of the island by regular buses.
