Sculpture exhibition inspired by Apocalypse

On the occasion of the theatrical interpretation of the Apocalypse of Saint John in Patmos Dodecanese, the Sculpture Department of the Athens School of Fine Arts organizes an exhibition with works inspired by the vision of the Apocalypse.
The works of the ten creative artists will be displayed at the Centre of Orthodox Culture & Information located in Skala, at the port of Patmos. The Apocalypse, the most important part of the Bible with significant historical value has been internationally associated with the history of Patmos Island, while it has been a source of inspiration for many artists.
The exhibition will last from July 22nd to July 31st, 2011. The theatrical play of the Apocalypse will be held at the historical cave of the Apocalypse in Chora from July 26th to July 30rd.
