This year, the 3rd International Film Festival of Patmos will take place from July 24th to 31st, 2013. During the 8 days of the festival, 12 awarded films, 13 documentaries and 50 short films will be presented in two venues: the open-air cinema of Patmos in Skala that has been renovated and can host 400 people, and the Documentary Screening Room in Patmos Aktis Hotel in Grikos Bay.
Very interesting are the parallel and live events of the festival. Among them is a Cinematography Workshop, during which a large documentary will be produced entitled Life in the Borderlands and also 4 masterclasses where international cinema personalities will teach. In fact, the Hollywood director Alexander Payne and the Photography Director Phaedon Papamichael, both of Greek origin, have already confirmed their presence in the festival.
The detailed program of the festival will be announced soon, while the entrance to all screenings is free.
