In brief, Patmos has a municipal bus with itineraries that link the portside Skala, the island's capital Chora, and the villages of Kambos and Grikos. It is the most inexpensive option for moving around the island.
Skala is connected with all main villages multiple times per day (including the remote Kambos) while Chora and Grikos also have a direct connection a few times per day!
One can also stop by and explore plenty of monasteries while traveling with the bus!

The bus service is available all year long, though route frequency increases between late spring and early autumn to help out the tourists.
