Location: Psalidi

The Imperial Watersports and Windsurf Club is located at the Grecotel Kos Imperial, a luxury hotel in Psalidi, on the beautiful Greek Island of Kos. The surf center is just a 30- minute drive from the airport or a 5-minute drive from Kos town. A calm inshore area combined with big wide style boards provided at the center gives beginners a stable platform, allowing them an opportunity to learn how to steer without losing balance.

An efficient rescue service is firmly in place, and the staff is deputed at lookout points through the day to keep an eye out for trouble. At the slightest hint of danger, a rescue craft rushes to the spot to resolve the issue. The station has a windsurfing school that offers private lessons to beginners and intermediates. The center also has a board rental. The boards at the surfing center are powered by Tabou, and range in volume from 97 to 160 liters, while the rigs (powered by Gun Sails) range in size from 3.7 to 8.1 with RDM 50% Carbon masts. On windless days, the station offers a host of water sports options like water skiing, canoeing and more, or one could take off in the morning to explore the beautiful villages and culture spots of the island, and still rush back to the center within an hour, in case the wind picks up speed.
