Kos transportation
About transportation in Kos island, Greece

Kos is a large island with a sufficiently good road network that links the capital with the surrounding villages. The most popular way to get around the island is the public transportation. Local blue buses are available only for the capital, while for the long distances visitors are served with the KTEL (green) buses. There are frequent bus routes and the central station is at the center of the town, in Kleopatras street. Buses link the main town with Kardamena, Agios Stefanos, Tigaki, Zia, Agios Fokas, Mastihari and other beaches around Kos.

There are many taxi stations in Kos, particularly at the port and the airport, when a plane arrives. Taxis can also be found everywhere in Kos Town and in the most tourist places of Kos, including Kardamena, Tigaki, Lambi, Agios Stefanos. Book your taxi online!

Car rentals

Renting a car or motorbike in Kos is probably the easiest way to get around. Car Rental agencies can be found at the port of Kos Town and in the tourist beaches around the island.
