Easy guided nature and culture hike in Pigadia

General Description

We will start our hike by having a nice walk on narrow pathways, passing by olive groves, old abandoned buildings, and some mesmerizing fields and plains! Our group will briefly stop underneath the trees, then go towards Poseidon’s Temple, an ancient cave with a long history and excellent countryside views!

Continuing our hike, we will find a chapel on the outskirts of Menetes, a neighboring village of Pigadia, where we can have a small break to enjoy freshly brewed, locally-made herbal tea! We can then explore the insides of the chapel and learn about its long-lasting tradition and historical background!

After that, we will have a stroll and spot lots of olive trees that have been alive for centuries and many fossilized shells before eventually returning to Pigadia.
