Holidays on Karpathos Island
Beautiful new renovated hotel with cosy and luxury furnished rooms. Situated in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood of Pigadia Town with seaview. Great pool and excellent greek salad and burgers at the Alex Pool bar. Hope to come back soon!

The summer is comming soon!
Well the booking is confirmed! After a few years of absence (for well-known reasons by the most of you) I'll be back. I look forward to see the totally renovated hotel. From what I can see here on the page it's a totally different style then what I used to. After carefully studying the photos of the inside bar I am little bit disappointed! I missing a very important bottle: the one with red ink on the front side, transparent liquid inside and imported from Sweden! But I am confident about it that this "minor problem" will be solved by Ilias, Sammy or Nikos before the 29th of May (i.e. at least 4 litres for the first 4 days). I am looking forward to see all the friends and the nice people on "my" island, as well my very good friends from Frankfurt (yeah monsterchen, you and Loff and all the rest off you crazy people from the hessische farmer grounds). You know where to find me on Saturday afternoon when you arrive. Many greetings from Rotterdam to "the key keepers of alcatraz"

Respect karpathos!
Hello to every one!I visit Karpathos many times,i always ask my self why i am coming back again and again,but never really know the answer,maybe thats why:)What makes it special is not only that is a beautifull island,but the local people are great and original!i know lots of locals in karpathos and i have talked many times about life, problems and so on...Please when you visit karpathos,respect the place the people,them metality and colture!!We travel to see hows life in other places and not to bring our way of living to them!Karpathian people are very social,very friendly,proud and honest!just look around when you visit the island..do you see karpathian people walking around bear foot..just with bathing clothes enter shops,carring boxes of beers and drinks in the street...??No never!!they have a style and they enjoy life!!All of us we are just visitors,and sometimes we should try to see how this people see our behaving, isnt it?Now about alexiou family and hotel what should i say?Thank you for the great times,your special humor,and the things i learned from you about your colture and how is to be living in a island like karpathos!!Will see us again soon,the hotel looks great,well done boys once again!!!

Great spot and family!
I have visited Karpathos and hotel Alex several times,the island is one of the most beautiful places i have seen and the hotel really nice!!
The owners,three brothers and them mother,(Nikos-Irene-Simon-Ilias) are all very diferent characters but all so original Greeks(friendly,straight,proud,best service!).I look forward to visit them this summer again,as they renovate the hotel and we are sure they will do a great job once again!this place and this island are fantastic!!
