Kalymnos Climbing Festival 2016

Kalymnos, the island near the peninsula of Bodrum on the southeastern side of the Aegean Sea might be famous for its diving tradition and natural sponges but not only. The wild landscape with the steep slopes and rugged rocks of Kalymnos provides the ample opportunity to hundreds of sports enthusiasts to climb up the mountains and practise their favorite hobby.
Given these data, every year, the Climbing Festival attracts many visitors who compete, train and find pleasure in their favorite sport. This year the Festival will last from the 7th until the 9th of October and it will be including competitions and events.
Apart from the festival, many freelance interessees come to Kalymnos to enjoy the many safe routes which have been marked in many parts of the island while enjoying other activities such as diving, sponge finding and more.
