Kalymnos Linaria beach

General information

The picturesque beach of Linaria is located near Panormos Village, about 6 km northwest of Pothia, the capital of Kalymnos. The beach comprises white sand and crystal-clear waters, creating the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing time of swimming and sunbathing. Linaria rarely gets crowded, offering a serene escape from busier resorts on the island. It is also suitable for families, boasting a relatively shallow seabed.

The beach is surrounded by some rugged cliffs that afford it an enchanting natural atmosphere. Do not expect amenities such as sunbeds or umbrellas, as Linaria remains mostly unorganized. A traditional fish tavern overlooks the beach and serves fresh seafood and authentic Mediterranean delicacies. A few cafes and bars are found in the wider region, as are some accommodations. Linaria Beach also lies in proximity to some other, equally beautiful beaches, including Kantouni Beach and Platis Yialos Beach.
