General information

Kania Beach Halki: Kania is a small pebbled beach accessible by bus, taxi or private means. This beach is also reachable from Nimporio within a 30 minutes walk. Kania is located on the eastern side of the island and over the last years, it is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. There is also a canteen that offers refreshments and snacks. The landscape is pretty wild and impressive. Few trees provide some shade. The beach is signposted and it is quite easy to reach it. It is located very close to Potamos beach.

Best place for swimming and eating

It is by far the best place to spend your day swimming and eating the most delicious food in the island! Their fish was outstandingly fresh and the calamari was amazing! Panayiotis and Garyfala were such a wonderful hostess♥️ I highly recommend this place and I will definitely visit them again with my family!????????♥️

Ideal spot now

Since our last visit to Kania Beach it has been improved, modernized and now has a Canteen, Free Sunbeds and Toilets, which now makes this an ideal spot for everyone. Crystal clear water set in Paradise. You can swim, sunbathe, and have lunch under the shade of a very old ALMYRA TREE (SAVORY TREE). Easily accessible by foot, boat, bus or even by taxi.
