An important discovery that sheds light to the erotic life of the ancient Greeks was made recently on windswept island of Astypalea. Dr Andreas Vlachopoulos chanced upon a couple of sexual inscriptions carved upon a rocky promontory above Vathy.

A tornado of great intensity struck the small island of Astypalea in Dodecanese yesterday, November 11th. It was a heavy storm that lasted for more than 10 hours and caused many damages.

A Dodecanesian MP of the Socialist Party of Greece, Mr Nikitiades, emerged last week once more the issue of the people of Astypalea, who are still waiting for doctors to staff their Medical Centre.
