Tinos Hiking
The island of Tinos has twelve known (yet unmarked) routes that are recommended for a good hike! Travel through most of the island's key villages, explore remote coasts, spot an array of chapels, and check out its wonderful beaches!
Below are all the recommended trails that one can follow on Tinos.
We highly recommend that all hikers carry enough water, take the necessary sun protection measures, and wear shoes suitable for hiking. For the longer trails, it is best to bring food and basic first aid supplies.

• Trail T1: The Three Capitals (Chora - Exomvourgo - Mountados loop trail)
This route from Chora (Tinos Town) passes by sights such as the Monastery of Evangelistria, the dam of Vaketa, and the villages of Poles, Karia, and Mountados.

This side trail takes you for an extended walk to Kionia, Kionia Beach, and the village of Ktikados!

• Trail Τ2: From the Sea to the Sky (Agios Ioannis Porto - Dyo Choria - Agios Sostis loop trail)
From the scenic Agios Ioannis Porto Beach, start a church-filled inland trip to Dyo Choria and Triantaros before coming back to Agios Sostis and Porto.

• Trail T3: The Hidden Valley (Potamia - Lychnaftia loop trail)
Offering excellent views of Mykonos, trail T3 helps you travel from the spring of Potamia to the coastal Lychnaftia Beach.

Go around the Livaderi Plateau and travel through the farmlands, springs, and churches of central Tinos.

This is a shortcut connecting Falatados and Tzados Villages, splitting M1 into two smaller loop trails.

• Trail M2: The Georoute (Volax, Falatados, Myrsini)
This trail offers a variety and views. It allows you to travel from the rocky outskirts of Xombourgo Mountain to the plains and the villages of Myrsini and Volax.

Start one of the most impressive trips in Tinos from Myrsini and reach the shores of Leivada while passing through mountainous slopes and verdant gardens!

• Trail M3a: Ormos Leivadas - Faros Leivadas
An extension from Leivada Coast, this trail will lead you to the famed Lighthouse of Leivada.

• Trail M4: The Road of the Water and the Castle (Agapi - Sklavochori - Skalados - Koumaros)
Go around Kato Meri and most of its famed villages, including Sklavochori, Volax, Koumaros, Loutra, and the Monastery of the Jesuits! Marvel at the sight of beautiful granite rocks, croplands, springs, and chapels!

• Trail M4a: Agapi - Sklavochori - Skalados - Koumaros (shortened version)
Go through the middle of the M4 loop and hike from Sklavochori directly to Skalados and Koumaros.

• Trail M4b: Perastra - Komi - Tarabados - Loutra
Instead of reaching Agapi, Volax, and Koumaros, visit Loutra and Perastra by passing by the scenic Smardakito Village, along with Komi and Tarabados.

• Trail M5: Above the Valley (Kalloni - Aetofolia loop trail)
This loop from Kalloni to Aetofolia and Kato Kleisma is a hike offering great views and a relatively easy journey.

• Trail E1: The Marble Villages (Ormos Giannaki - Kardiani - Isternia - Ormos Isternion loop trail)
A circle from the shore of Ormos Giannaki towards Isternia, pass by the coastline of western Tinos and visit the churches in Kardiani Village.
