General information

Surrounded by rolling hills, Livada boasts a wild beauty that makes it unlike any other beach in Tinos. This rocky cove is fringed by pristine sky-blue waters which are ideal for snorkeling, while a creek flowing into the sea forms a small wetland of great natural beauty. At the same time, the fact that it is exposed to the strong northern winds makes it a heaven for windsurfing enthusiasts; if swimming and basking in the sun is all you’re looking for though, it might be a good idea to check out the weather forecast before coming to Livada.

With the exception of a small tavern that operates during the summer months, Livada is not organized, allowing you to enjoy the sun and the sea in undisturbed solitude, with ducks and wild goats as your only company.

To get there, you will need to drive along a 2-kilometer-long dirt road which is relatively smooth but still covered with quite a few stones. If you’re into hiking, however, the best way to get to the beach is through a trail starting at Falatados village; once you get there, the magnificent views will more than reward you for your efforts.

    Really great
Very beautiful. Need to drive 2 km on soil road. Quiet but windy when there are northern winds. Stony beach but one of the best of the island. Don't miss visiting the lighthouse on your way back.
