Syringas Village, Syros: It is a mountainous village on the northern side of Syros, surrounded by water springs and lovely nature. The village is also known as San Mihalis due to the Catholic church of Saint Michael that is located on a hill above the village. Small in size, Syringas has stone houses, paved streets and picturesque taverns.
North of the village, there is the Cave of Mentonis and even northern there is the lighthouse of Diapori, however the road is dirt and only jeeps can go there. Generally, the road from Ermoupolis to Syringas is narrow and windy, but you get to see the unexplored part of Syros island, away from the tourist villages of the south.
