International Festival of Classic Music 2011

Seven years have passed since the idea of four friends came into realizationΒ through this music festival that is held every year in Syros Cyclades. The love for classical music urged them to organize an innovative festival which brings forth common values and encourages the creation of a musical community. Once again, Ermoupolis, the capital of Syros, will be the hostess of this important cultural festival.

This year, the International Classic Music Festival of Cyclades aims to revive the musical tradition of the 19th century offering to the audience a unique opportunity to enjoy six classical music concerts. During this 7-year period, the festival has been greatly enhanced to become an international and widely acclaimed cultural event. This year, the festival will host renowned artists from Greece and abroad. The International Classic Music Festival will take place from August 19th to August 27th, in the Apollo Theatre, Ermoupolis.
