1st Trimore Syros Triathlon in June

An exciting new sports event is taking place from June 10th to 12th, 2016 on the beautiful island of Syros, the 1st Trimore Syros Triathlon. This is a sports competition that includes various kinds of races. Apart from the Sprint distance Triathlon Race, there is a kids triathlon, a 5km city run race for all participants, a cycling tour of Ermoupolis, swimming race and other sports events.

The Triathlon Race includes a 750m swim race, a 20km bike race along the harbor and a 5km run race through the streets of this historical capital of the island. This 3day event is organized by Diaplous LTD with the cooperation of the Municipality of Syros, the Nautical Club of Syros, the company T&M and the sports club Niriida, under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization.
