1st International Film Festival

The 1st International Film Festival will take place in Syros from August 6th to 9th, 2013, presenting recent Greek and international films that deal with travel. This theme focuses on important current issues, such as diaspora, immigration and cultural co-habitation. One of the films shows the present situation of Greece, while there will also be films from various countries. The program of the festival includes both fiction and documentaries.

The entrance is free of charge and screenings will take place in Pallas Open Theatre in the central square of Ermoupolis, Asteria Seaside bar in Vaporia Ermoupolis and at the schoolyard of Ano Syros. Discussion forums have been organized before and after the screenings.
