16th Guitar Festival in July

The 16th Guitar Festival will be held this summer on July 12th-16th on Syros, the beautiful island of the Cyclades with rich musical tradition. The Guitar Festival is organized every July by the Municipality and the Cultural Centre of Syros. This year, the person to honour will be the great Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. Apart from that, there are guitar competitions, musical concerts and guitar courses of all levels. Events are taking place in Miaouli square, Ermoupolis, or in the village of Ano Syros.
