The Monastery of Panagia Vryssiani in Sifnos: The Monastery of Panagia Vryssiani (or Vryssis) is located 1 km south of Exabela. It is dedicated to the Birth of the Virgin Mary and actually, the katholikon existed before the creation of the monastery. The iconostasis of the katholikon is wooden-carved, dating from 1750, and has valuable icons.
Constructed in the traditional Cycladic architecture and painted in blue and white, the Monastery of Vryssiani hosts a small ecclesiastical museum. This museum exhibits manuscripts with Holy Masses, gospels, reliquaries, holy vessels, vestments of priests and the embroidered coat of Kassiani.
