Serifos Ganema beach

General information

Ganema Beach Serifos: Ganema beach is the ideal escape if you want serene and relaxing vacation. The beach consists of soft and fine sand and pebbles , as well as a long tuft of trees providing comfortable shade from the sun.

Regarding its location, it is on the southern coast of Serifos, next to Koutalas beach, forming opposite ends of a bay with horse-shoe shape. In fact, Ganema beach is actually part of Koutalas bay, as well as Vagia beach. After reaching Koutalas by car, it is necessary to walk around 25 minutes to find Ganema beach as it is only 1 km while the distance from Livadi, the island's port is around 7 km.

Koutalas is a popular beach that retains its unspoilt atmosphere offering no beach facilities, so it is advisable to carry some with you. Most visitors also take the opportunity to move towards the West, where there is a cave with stalagmites and stalactites.

On the other hand, the south west district from Chora to Koutalas is one of the most picturesque on Serifos, and apart from the beaches at this area, you should also visit the old villages and fishing ports that also provide good sites. Finally, remember to wear comfortable clothes during your walking trip from Koutalas to Ganema.
