Santorini Agios Nikolaos Islet

Location: Ammoudi

A 10-minute walk from the small bay of Ammoudi will lead you to the jumping spot Zoodochos Pigi. From there, you can swim to the detached islet of Agios Nikolaos.
The path you need to take to get there is only about 300 meters long, but you have to be careful in case of potential rockslides.
The islet is located 15 meters from the mainland & a tiny whitewashed chapel known as Agios Nikolaos Peramataris is carved into the volcanic rock.

The islet is considered a safe jumping spot. In addition, you will have the opportunity to admire the massive caldera cliffs from bottom to top.
On your way to Zoodochos Pigi, you will also come across the thermal springs of Ammoudi!

Tip: No beach lies around; only spots to jump into the sea from the rocks. The nearest place to find a shop is Ammoudi village, so we recommend bringing water, snacks, a towel, and any other necessity.
