New speedboat for patients

A new speedboat was purchased from the Boatmen Union of Santorini, which will constitute a modern and fully equipped unit for carrying patients. It aims at the on time service of the residents who live in Santorini periphery. It will start taking delivery in the coming April. The length of the speedboat will be 20 meters with capacity of 160 people, an equipped mobile that will carry patients from the islands close to Santorini, even on bad weather conditions. The Boatmen Union of Santorini is occupying more than 70 local families, based on voluntarism. Its personnel are excellent trained with vast experience and a great sense of offering. It occupies 74 people and includes captains, sailors, tackle handlers, engineers, technicians, machine handlers, nurses, ships attendants, administration officers and employees for food services.
