Mall in Thailand designed after Santorini

• Category: News

An amusement and shopping park opened two days ago, on March 24th 2012, in Cha-Am Thailand, about 200 km from Bangkok, the capital of the country. What is so unique about this park? It has been entirely constructed as a copy of Santorini! The mall is a miniature of Fira, the capital of Santorini, with the small stone houses, the churches, the windmills, the paved streets, just like they are in this fabulous Greek island. Only the vast Aegean Sea and the view to the volcano is missing. This lovely mall honors and advertises Greece in the other side of the world, Southeast Asia.
