A new port in Vlychada?

The MP of the Cyclades islands, Giannis Vroutsis, with a question in the Greek Parliament, demanded to speed up the process to build a new port in Santorini. According to Mr Vroutsis, Santorini deserves more respect because it contributes the most in the Greek financing as one of the most popular tourist destinations all over the world. So, Santorini deserves a new harbour, since the existing one is insufficient for the developed tourist growth of the island. Studies have been made to build a new port in Vlychada. However, although more than two years have passed since the agreement on building a new port, works have not started yet.
